i've got the title for my dissertation already, and i should make a start..
but,i just dont feel like it.. heh, ngade2 betul.
the first meeting for my ssc today was held right from 10 o'clock in the morning, up till 4pm. well, there was a couple of breaks in between.. i expected this time's ssc would be a piece of cake. i get "nutrition and cancer prevention" this time around. how hard it'd be, kan? wrong! the coordinator for that module works in epidemiology department. so our first session this morning, was pretty much epidemiology revision for me. i was clueless whenever she asked all the epidemiology related questions. and apparently, so were the other five who are doing the same ssc as me.heheh. as far as i remember, i never really paid attention in epidemiology classes. masuk telinga kiri, kluar telinga kanan. and i'd grasp the concept only when the exam is around the corner. i suppose, we students dont really see the importance of the bradford-hill criteria, risk ratio and all that..
and oh, only this afternoon i learnt how to use the medline/pubmed/cochrane database properly. after two years of doing literature reviews..
huh? i know!! up till now, i only rely on the google scholar to find all those journals. but now that i've actually know how to use the Qsearch and everything, maybe i'll use those instead.it's seven past nine p.m. my conscience tell me to start working. but the devil inside of me telling me not to. besides i have NO classes for the rest of the week! yeehaaa. but it'll be harder to get things done having so much free time in my hands, believe it or not!! oh well, we'll see how thing goes.
