almost certainly the last boxing day

malaysians living in the u.k who dont celebrate christmas, definitely look forward to the day after, december 26 - boxing day!! where every stores cut down prices like really really mad, sometimes up to 70% or maybe more!

N is always the best to have with when it comes to shopping, so it was just us both today. buses were not frequent, so we walked to town. the journey took a lot longer, due to frosty sidewalk. we might as well be ice skating if we have the skating shoes. to avoid falling and injuring ourselves, geisha-like walk was the safest option- small steps, but tiring i tell you..

first stop was esprit. there weren't many people in just yet, so browsing through sale items was pleasant enough. but nothing really caught my eye. so no shopping bag from the first store.

then onto the shop across the street: next. now, this store always opens early on boxing day, sometimes as early as 3 a.m. as much i love shopping, i've never been one of those who would queue up in the cold, just waiting for the store to open. 'next' always have one of the best price reduction for their items,so there's always gazillion people in the store when it holds a sale. trying to find tops or pants that you like seriously requires bucket lots of patience. there's a lot of tops design that i fancy but all that were left was the odd sizes, it's either the really small ones or the huge ones. but i found these two things:

and yes, the white shirt cost me just £3. weeehee!

*****
then crossed the street again and we entered clarks. clarks's been having sale since before christmas, they only add up a few new things. but, i've been eyeing this shoes for quite a wee while..

i wasnt planning to buy it at first, but i asked the salesgirl for the left shoes so that i could try them both. then i put them on, walked around a bit. and i just love it and couldnt resist.:D

*****
then off to debenhams at castle court. this brush cleanser was definitely was in the list of things i want to buy. my makeup brushes seriously need cleaning and after comparing the prices, this one won:

 ****
i've been wanting to buy this parfum since god knows how long. buying this gift set was way cheaper than buying the perfume alone. so, yeay!

*****
then off to victoria square and went straight ahead to hollister. the queue to get into this store is always long since it open about three months ago. but we're in luck today. we queued for only about ten minutes before we were let in. hollister is under the abercrombie&fitch company (i think). so, the concept to the store is similar. the store is dark, with only a few lights shining on. the salespeople were all model gorgeous.
the store was crowded as well. there were a few tops i like, but this's the only one i'm buying this time:

my wardrobe could barely hold all the shirts & tops that i already have. but gosh, i so adore the hallister SoCal parfum:

£40 for 75 mL.. argh, nape la mahal sgt!!:(

but knowing meself, i have no sense of control. it'll be soon before long you'll be reading about me blogging about buying this.lol.

heee, did i tell you all the salespeople at hollister are greek-god/goddess-beautiful? i was queuing at the checkout, and feasting the eye while waiting. then this boy who is absolutely gorgeous call up the next customer.. which was me!: haaa,my smile was so broad, i was giggling with N like schoolgirls.;;) and it didnt really helped when he was smilling and being adorable. hah, i almost buy the other perfume that he was promoting at the counter there.lol.

gosh, i'm £100++ short from today excessive shopping. but i'm perfectly happy with that.

alright, enough of nonsense. better get back to books:-B, final MB part one is 23 days away!
