i finished my two-week neurology attachment today. and i've been enjoying it to bits!! and now, neurology has placed itself in my top 5 specialties that i'll be considering later on. though how far long still for me to reach that stage. seeing patients with all sorts of signs always made me all excited! (but of course, it must felt bad on their side of things!) i wished i could see any neurosurgery.but we didnt get any chance to do so. seeing all the pre- and post-op mri scans made me go all awe, for instance, a patient who had neurofibroma at his cervical neck spine, had the surgeons cut away the bones and leaves the spinal cord naked. mind you it was at neck region, which is a very delicate area and something could easily go wrong. and dr. H was hillarious as well! which is always a bonus.
