(but i cant believe they're still going to air more of that. it seriously corrupt the people's mind.especially the youngsters!)
less than two hours from now, the registered voters can start to exercise their right for the 12th(if i'm not mistaken) general election. i was never the kind to follow politics. but i take more interest this year.guess i'm growing up.haha. but too bad i'm still gonna be a virgin voter for four more years or so.
i am kinda jumpy at the moment, excited about it even when i'm thousand miles away.haha.
the heat of election was felt all the way here. one thing is because, the yahoogroup of malaysian community here was so alive with all sorts of opinion and speculations. in a way, they were all campaigning too. my inbox was filled with at least 15 posts about the issue each day. sume artikel panjang2 plak tu. sampai nak gaduh2 pon ada
did i post any sorts of opinions at the YG? no,i did not. i read them all, with a newfound respect everytime. how some can write so thoughtfully to express their concerns, their stance. and i felt like an empty can, so inadequate when my peers were so passionate about the country's affair.
i for one, think that we should look pass the candidate's party. it does not matter where they're from. the most important is their credibility, the ability to lead. some from the government are just plain useless, the same with the opposition:not all have the people's best interest at their heart. if you think you are one responsible citizen, take an interest to know who the candidates contesting at your place. i mean, in terms of how s/he carry out her/his responsibility. the simplest thing you can do is, when you're about to put the big X on one of the boxes on the voting paper, think who can really do their job. with dignity. not by "duit kopi", not by putting other people down. nothing to go "whoa" about, but that's my 2 cents.
vote wisely.
happy voting!
