heck, i felt it since last night. not the fact that i was to have informal osce with my coordinator this morning. it just feel like a loooong attachment. i need a holiday!! haha.
general med is probably the busiest attachment of all. so, i guess the stress and all are getting into me. but it turn out, i didnt got picked to examine the patient at all. two of my group mates were asked to do respiratory examination on a patient. and the rest would be the critics. and oh, that patient have a raised jvp!! and that was my first time of actually seeing one. and it really did have a double wave pulse!!haha, i was excited to see things that i often read in the medical books. i mean, heh it could all be created by the author or something. to actually see all the signs, it's always fascinating... moving onto the next patient, the same girl who has performed the respiratory examination was picked yet again to take a history. then another girl was asked to exam the hands. all of us were like,"eh?- just the hands?-what do we look for in hands?-we never really learn to examine just the hands- it would usually be a part of a system- and then, which system do we need to focus on?" see, that's one of the difficulty i face, to put all the systems that we've been learning separately before together. and whenever the reg or consultant twist the questions out of the box a bit, i got lost. urgh, x suke, x suke!!
and now, i'm wasting my time on this. when i should prepare for my presentation tomorrow.
