loss for words

i've been staring at the screen for a good couple of minutes. i have things to say but didnt really know where to begin....*sigh*

time is flying by.... without realizing it, i've been in and out of this building for four weeks already!! 3 more weeks to go and i'll be finished with general med block. we had a meeting with our coordinator this morning. i only knew about it yesterday afternoon and everyone were pretty anxious to see him.haha! even though we rarely see him, he still have the aura to make us sweat without reason.heheh. it turned out, he wanted to see how things are going, whether we get proper teaching or not. and he also mentioned about us needing to spend an evening with the deft team. i dont mind with the "staying in late" part, but i do mind of how i'm gonna get home later on. he expected us to shadow the SHO in charge from 5pm till the handover meeting's over like, at 9pm. hukhuk, i'm dreading that to happen. i'll be too chicken-hearted to get a bus home by 9pm. which means, i'm left with no option but to stay in the hospital overnight.:-S

hmm, now that i think about it..has it really been a month??:-O god, i'm not sure whether i've learnt up to a standard that i should. ya know, it's frustrating sometimes when you were learning say..about mitral valve disease in the morning and after coffee break, you'd be thought something totally random like rigors during the bedside teaching. i hate it when ya know, when we went in first thing in the morning, the coordinator's secretary would inform us that you'll be having a teaching say like at 11 o'clock on the same morning. i HATE being clueless.. i would prefer if i could prepare. at least to read a bit to avoid of feeling stupid if i fail to answer questions thrown at me by the doctor. heh, even if i did read around, i wont remember much. so imagine if going to class with no freaking idea about the symptoms, what the differential diagnoses are or whatnot.#-obut other than that, all the hospitals staff are really great. and i'm not even exaggerating here. i am yet to encounter any doctor that is a @$#^%*. heh, sometimes they are more keen of teaching us when we're not that keen to learn. like whenever you were walking through the MAU ward and you happen to bump into the F1 doctors, they always ask like "do you wanna hear a murmur?" or "do you wanna see how LP is done?" the opportunity is always there, only left for you to grab them..

on another note,
a big thank you to all of you who care enough to send these cards! totally made my day!:D

on not so bright note,
i know i'm being rude. of ignoring, of pretending i'm not there to avoid an awkward conversation (if there's one). but i guess i'm making things easier for you if i cut you out first... save your time in making decision. and saving mine too. disloyalty is such a turn off!
