hypo

fieza dearie, happy 22nd! eventho u're unlikely to read this blog of mine, heh. i wish you all the best in life. we definitely need to meet up when i go back for the summer...uhuuu, cant wait!

today also marked my last session for the clinical attachment. hehe, the attendance was full today..all six actually bothered to turn up.compared to last week's when there were only three instead the usual six. we did some revision of the skills that we have learned throughout the semester.... we did the GALS, lymph nodes, thyroid status, musculoskeletal+thyroid+gynae histories as well as the knee examination. i think that's basically it. owh, we saw a patient with SLE today. my first! her skin was all red and apparently she's been having rashes since she was on this one drug. couldnt remember the name of the drugs though. she was and still is on every possible drugs imaginable, that the doctor has to keep changing them as there were plenty of side effects. the initial presentation of diseases can be from tiny lil things, like stiffness on the hand.. and the next thing you know, when you consult the doctor, they would come up with serious, bizzare illnesses as the diagnosis...
which make me more paranoid sometimes.haha.
my nose was bleeding a bit tonite.i dunno why.
and i've just watched gray's latest episode this afternoon , and there was one patient admitted to the hospital with runny nose, and then his nose started to bleed. the next thing we know, dr.bailey diagnose him with brain hernia (or something like that, i'm not so sure) and it did cross my mind, that could something serious arise from my nose bleed..? aih, i'm becoming a hypochondriac, it's not even funny!!

Izzy-chan, it may just be that the air was a bit cold. Or you accidentally went 'gold-digging' a bit too roughly. Dont fret too much dearest, im sure you're fine. Nosebleeds arent the wierdiest things to happen. Take care!
