exam: over!

i'm gonna hit the sack right after i finish this.. well, you say:why dont you just write it out tomorrow if you can barely open your eyes.. well, if i write this tomorrow, it's gonna be written differently and it's not going to come out the same way..

so,here the so-called story goes...

have you ever wake up smiling??....
i did, this morning.... Happy
and the feeling of contentment last through out the morning till ten minutes before my osce exam starts.... which was different on the previous exam days. the first thing that came to my mind would be "i need to look back at this table, that drugs list, and the list goes on." but not today.
hmm, you wonder what made me to have this "contenment" feeling?.. am not gonna write it all out. hopefully it will all be true and hopefully when i read this back a couple of months/years from now, i'm still going to remember it.

as for my osce, i started on the 6th station and my first assesment was to take the fasting blood glucose reading using the glucometer. i was actually shaking at first, that i couldnt really put my fingers into the gloves.Nervous heh, i knew that would happen, so as precaution measure, i took the largest size of gloves when i usually would don the small size. and still, i took more time than needed just to get the gloves on. i dont think i forgot to do anything that i was supposed to at that station. but for the following seven stations, i did forgot some..like forgotting to palpate for the salivary gland at the 8th station, forgotting to change the speculum for the hearing test, forgotting to consider examining the external genitalia/hernia orifice/rectum. and i threw the neurotip into the yellow bag instead of the sharp box!!..realizing the mistake the second after, i told the examiner that i should have thrown the neurotip inside the sharp box..
hmm, come to think of it, there were quite a few things that i forgot. but heh, i think i did my best.. BUT, it could have been better.. and now, all i can do is pray that i pass it all.. i dont wanna call home and say the dreaded words to mama. so, hopefully i'll be delivering good news to her in a couple of weeks when the results come out.
